| Features and Amenities Turnberry Towers opens East Tower with sleek, contemporary design LAS VEGAS (June 8, 2007) The East Tower is complete at the high-rise community Turnberry Towers in Las Vegas, and new residents will enjoy more than their luxury condominiums. The 45-story tower will showcase an urban contemporary design and comfortable use of space, creating a welcoming environment that caters to the Turnberry lifestyle. Turnberry Towers is located on 10 acres on Paradise Road and Karen Avenue. One to three bedroom luxury residences are available. When complete, the resort community will have two 45-story towers and 636 residences. Interior design firm Nick Luaces Design Associates put a modern twist on Turnberry Towers interiors, which differs from Turnberry’s more traditionally-designed high-rise community Turnberry Place. The trend today is toward clean lines and a minimalist use of space, said Nicolas A. Luaces, president of Nick Luaces Design Associates. In the Turnberry Towers lobby, the look is classic contemporary with a residential feel. The tower lobby is adorned with a variety of marbles mixed together to create dramatic flooring, while exotic woods and modern art grace the walls. We did not over furnish or over accessorize the lobby area in order to keep it comfortable for the residents, Luaces said. The buildings interior complements its exterior with a sleek, contemporary look by Florida-based Robert M. Swedroe Architects & Planners. “Contemporary buildings are timeless and ideal for Las Vegas with its evolving landscape and skyline, said Robert M. Swedroe, founding partner of Swedroe Architects, which also designed Turnberry Place. Turnberry Towers design affords residents spectacular views of the Strip and surrounding mountains, and condominiums bask in refinements and luxuries that have become legendary at all Turnberry communities. For example, residences are adorned with Italian marble baths and Jacuzzi whirlpool tubs, granite-topped European kitchen cabinetry, General Electric Monogram appliances and nine-foot ceilings. When you purchase a Turnberry condominium, you are not just buying a place to live, said John Riordan, senior vice president of sales for Turnberry Towers. You will become privy to the Turnberry lifestyle, which has numerous advantages. Turnberry makes pampering a priority. All Turnberry Towers buyers will receive a Stirling Club membership for two years. The Stirling Club is an 80,000-square-foot private club at Turnberry Place complete with exquisite dining and a 30,000-square-foot spa. Prices range from $550,000 to more than $1.3 million. The West Tower topped off this month and is slated for completion in spring 2008. The gated community will feature a fitness facility, outdoor pool with sundeck, lavish landscaping, tennis, valet, 24-hour security, a putting green, dog run and more.
